More Beach Time!

Jodie finally dares to rest her big foot on the sand!

Oh yes, isn't that weird? Kids should love to run on the grass and walk the beach. Jodie is the unusual one. She is the lady-like, as what most of her teachers describe her. She doesn't like her classmates to touch her or else she will complain to the teachers. (Duh...isn't it?) I wonder who she inherit such behaviours...

We were at the beach last Sunday with our friends. Their children were busy building sand castles, together with Joselle. Jodie was playing with her bubble gun, alone. Of course she won't last long playing alone, knowing all the other kids were at the beach having fun. She asked me to carry her to the beach and i did. I asked her to join the kids building sandcastles and she shook her head.

I couldn't carry her for too long, so i passed her over to daddy who was sitting at the beach near the kids. She make sure her legs doesn't touch the sands at all. She has her way of doing it and its amazing she can tahan for so long. Daddy soon turns tired too and he managed to convince her to sit on her own slippers but rest both of feet on the sand. Nice. She dint grumbled or wailed at all. But she was sitting there still and asked her sister to bring her the hand rake and fork, etc.

Its a relieved sometimes to see both sisters are helping each other.

Suddenly i noticed Jodie started to stand up and slowly walked on the beach all by herself! OMG, you cannot imagine how thrilled i am to see such a big improvement! I was screaming at her "WOW JODIE! LOOK! YOU ARE WALKING ON THE BEACH!"

Haha. =)

Although my friends told me not to remind her about it, afraid that she might change her mind and started crying again. But i debated back that she should be praised instead. She should know that I am very happy and totally approved of what she is doing and I am very proud of her.

I told Jodie since she can walk on the beach now, i will buy her a full set of beach tools. Awww....i can't wait to bring her back to the beach again..maybe every weekend! =)

This is the way how children should be like on the beach.

Joselle Turns 2!

~~ 080910 ~~

Today finally arrived! The kids still go to school. I told Jodie that today's Joselle's birthday and we will be coming over to the school to celebrate her birthday after their afternoon nap. Jodie asked me if she can blow the candles. Told her its Joselle's birthday and she had to ask meimei if she allows her.

Jodie: "妹妹,我可以帮你吹蜡烛吗?"
Joselle: "不可以。"
Jodie: "我帮你吹!"
Joselle: "不可以。"

Jodie cried immediately when meimei doesn't allows her to blow her candles. Hahha....I find it really amusing because Joselle's answer to any questions are almost 可以. Well, Jodie did not attempt to blow the candles in the end. She let her has the entire attention.

The cake is lovely, thanks to Piece of cake! I bet everyone shares the same sentiments as me too. The expressions from Joselle looking at the cake is priceless!

A really chubby Joselle.

Its her birthday tomorrow.

Oh..my little Joselle turning 2 tomorrow! I still remember I wanted to induce her on the 9th September, but wiz finds it too troublesome to return back to the hospital again the next day. Oh well...8 is a nice number too. =)

I am always excited over my kids birthday. If I can or allowed to, I will want to throw a birthday party for them every year! Those birthday balloons, birthday hats, birthday cake, goodie bags....Whoaa.... Maybe its more for myself, I want myself to feel like a kid again. Haha!

Bought this Dibo the gift dragon for Joselle!

With lots of love...
Saw the Dibo the gift dragon at Tom & Stephanie few months back. There's his friends Annie, Ello, Chronos and Bunny too! I could only choose one to give Joselle as a gift, it will be too pampered if I buy all of them. Since Dibo is the biggest of the lot, I decided to get her that. :o)

I have ordered a 3D fondant cake with Dibo and Joselle on the cake from Jaq. This is the first time I ordered the cake from her and I really really hope she will do a good job! More photos tomorrow on her birthday party! See..I am more excited than the kids. =)

Weekend has ended.

Another weekend has ended. I looked forward to every weekend because it will be the time i bring the kids out and dress them up. Saturday is usually shorter time spend outside as i need to go for my training in the evening. Yes its tiring but i enjoyed it. I get to play my part as a parent, spend quality time with kids and at the same time, not letting myself down... I reward myself with sweat!

The kids had fun at the arcade at Suntec. Not a lot of people, i guessed we were too early. Joselle has no preferred games yet, she just tagged along Jodie wherever she goes. Jodie's favorite for now are almost every game machines that she can get hold of it.

trying to win a doremon?
priceless fun.

Was at the Toys R Us to look for a booster seat for Jodie. Her existing one has been occupied by Joselle. Its pretty dangerous for her to sit in the car without strapping her. But there wasn't any nice looking ones or rather one that looks strong. Strong enough to hold her. Anyway, the kids had their fun there too.

can i buy this please?
The kids had another fun outfit to play with - Civil Defence Raincoat. Thanks to s.godaunt for queuing up to get these freebies from a carnival! They really looked cute in them! Haha....and Jodie's ambition is to be a fireman now, or firewoman.

Future civil defence babe.

First Time

I've been visiting other people's blog and i must admit i love to read them. It dint struck me to create one for myself. But today, i don't know why...i feel like i want to own one. Or perhaps, not really for myself.

Its difficult to start creating one! Creative header, simple to remember address, interesting topics.... it really squeeze dry my creative juices! It takes time to perfect this, and so i am going to take my time...

The fonts here are pretty limited. They doesn't have my favourite tahoma or calibri. Not even a simple comic sans.

I guessed i have done a good job so far on this new post, or so i claimed! I will keep this up despite the easy access FB which i feel its more for lazy people.

Have fun reading, or at least, please pretend to have fun reading.
